The cops knew DMX was going to perform at New York's Radio City Music Hall last night.

So they staged a dramatic arrest of the 44-year old right outside of the storied venue.

It wasn't enough that NYPD ruined the Hawks they had to go and lock up DMX right outside a concert where everybody paid to see him.

DMX was scheduled to go on at 8 PM. But he was predictably late, and the cops waited and cuffed him a bit before 10:30 PM.

A spokesman for the New York City Sheriff's Department explained the rapper was taken in for multiple "issues outstanding."

The main one would be the $400,000 in back child support he owes. He also has an arrest warrant from the city of White Plains for bail jumping, Yonkers wants him for aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operations, and Newark, NJ would like to talk to him about a bizarre robbery in April.

All in all, DMX's lawyer is going to be busy.
