What DJ Khaled's does on his own records is somewhat of a mystery.

Take his smash hit 'Hold You Down' with Chris Brown, Future, Trey Songz, Jeremih and August Alsina. Khaled doesn't sing or rap on the track, and given he is one of four producers on it we doubt he has much to do with the beats.

In an interview with Genius, Khaled explained exactly what he contributed to 'Hold You Down.'

It seems to come down to layering vocals

"These guys can't do what I do," Khalad bragged. "I'm the best that ever did it."
