While promoting his movie 'Top Five,' Chris Rock has offered up two lists of top five all-time rappers. The first from the perspective of the character he plays, and the next his own personal rankings.

Neither of the lists included Eminem. This may have surprised some since Rock once did a joke about how the best rapper (Eminem) was white, while the best golfer (Tiger Woods) was black.

During an interview with Power 105.1's Angie Martinez, Rock explained why he left Shady off his lists.

"People get angry when you don't mention Eminem. They really like, 'Hey Eminem's one of the greatest.' I'm not a big 'Stan' guy. I like 'Stan.' I loved him on 'Renegade.' He's great on 'Renegade.' I like him on a lot of stuff. I like 'Stan' but you don't hear 'Stan' at the club, ever. Not any club I wanna be at. 'It was hot last night and then they played 'Stan.'' 'What? Where were you? Did they play 'Stan?' They playing 'Stan.' Was it a remix or something?'"
