Yesterday we shared the cover art for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's forthcoming single "Bongos."
It shows both women more naked than clothed, probably leading some to think the song would be just like "Wap," their cut from 2020.
But Cardi said the song will be totally different from that, and the cover was used to fool people.
"Let me tell you something. Me and [Megan Thee Stallion], we tricked y’all," said Cardi on Instagram Live. "We tricked you muthaf*ckas. These covers we tricked you b*tches ... You wanna know how we tricked ya? Because this is not the theme of the song or the video. We want y’all to believe that it’s giving something that it’s not."
Are you amped for "Bongos?" It drops this Friday?
