Lil Wayne and Birdman got on the phone New Year's Eve and tried to work out their differences.

They ended up partying together that night at Drake's show, and it looks like since then they've been moving back toward their "father son" relationship that was upset about a year ago when Wayne told the world he wanted off Cash Money.

Last night, the two were at Liv -- the same Miami nightclub in which Birdman was pouring drinks on Wayne six months ago.

As you can see in the video below, the love was flowing.

"This my motherfucking son," he said, pointing to Wayne, "and I'mma die for him, I'mma live for him, and I'mma motherfucking kill for him. That ain't gonna never change, nigga. It's YMCMB for life." Birdman says of Wayne.

Later, Baby started making threats against the "bitch niggas" who have been saying his name.

Some have speculated that Birdman is talking about Rick Ross. He also could be making reference to new GOOD Music president Pusha T, who's definitely been saying Birdman's name lately.

Weezy and Baby also performed some of their hits last night:
