Tragedy has struck the Hip Hop community. Big Paybacc, a West Coast rapper who scored a moderate hit in 2011 with 'Gangsta Luv', was shot and killed yesterday while eating lunch at a Palmdale, CA McDonald's.

Police say the gunman walked right up to Paybacc (Ameer Zekajj) and shot him  in front of the fast food restaurant's 15 other patrons.

LA County Sheriff’s Department Lt. John Corina briefed reporters on the situation last night. "There was no altercation ... This guy just walked in through one door, shot him and left out another door. So it looked like something personal. He had something against this individual. It wasn't like he shot up the McDonald’s. He just shot him and left."

Paybacc was affiliated with former G-Unit artist Spider Loc. In 'Gansta Luv', Paybacc rapped graphically about the the gangsta lifestyle.

Paybacc was 38 and leaves behind three children. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
