A few days ago, Vic Mensa took a shot at Lil Yachty while playing a show at the University of Cincinnati.
"Then I signed to the Roc and now they say I'm illuminati / Bitch, I'm a tsunami, what the fuck is a Lil Yachty?" rapped the Chicago native.Afterwards, Yachty sent a tweet and told Mensa to "Hop off the planet."
Today (April 14), during an interview on Hot 97, the Atlanta rapper was asked about Mensa's diss.
"I feel like people just throw a shot at me just so I can respond," he said. "[I've met] Vic twice. I've never even spoken to him. I just shook his hand. Niggas is weird."Then in a separate Hot 97 interview with Nessa, at the 8:50 mark, Yachty was asked if he's ever spoken to anyone who's come for him.
"I've conversed with Pete Rock numerous of times" he said. "He was actually supposed to be on my album."Afterwards, the 19-year-old addressed Lord Jamar's comments, who told DJ Vlad that people who like Yachty are stupid.
"His mindset is, like, off," Yachty stated.From there, Boat spoke about all the backlash he received after saying The Notorious B.I.G. was overrated.
