50 Cent Hit With $2 Million In Punitive Damages In Sex Tape Trial

50 Cent is deeper in the financial hole

The 40-year old has just been hit with $2 million in punitive damages for leaking a sex tape featuring Rick Ross's baby mama Lastonia Leviston.

The jury had already awarded Leviston $5 million in the case.

"The jury saw through the lies and punished Mr Jackson, we are so happy for Lastonia, she deserves this," Leviston’s lawyer, Hunter Shkolnik, said.

50 Cent declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy after the initial ruling, and claimed during the punitive portion of the trial that his wealth was an illusion and that he only had $4.4 million in assets against ten of millions in debts.

The Get Rich Or Die Tryin' rapper now owes $7 million to Leviston, and another $18.5 million to Sleek Audio, who had sued him last year for swiping their headphone design.

Fif will still have to pay out both judgments. But by declaring Chapter 11 it could give him more time to do so, and could help him fend off Chapter 7 (Scott Storch-broke) bankruptcy.
