21 Savage has been granted bail and has been released from an ICE detention center pending his deportation case.
He will get an expedited hearing.
His attorneys have questioned why Savage was held for so long because he was neither a flight risk nor did he pose a threat to the community, which is normally the standard for holding someone in that situation. (However, if the police report that says they found him with a loaded weapon is correct, that may have been the reason.)
Savage is facing deportation because he was found to be a British national in the United States on an expired visa.
Hopefully, Savage will prevail at his hearing and be allowed to stay in the U.S. permanently.
