In 2014, we've seen less of 2 Chainz than we have had in the past couple years. During his first and second album runs it seemed like everybody was using him on their singles. Now, a 2 Chainz feature has become a little bit rarer, and besides his short Freebase EP in May we haven't gotten any headlining projects either.

While promoting Mike Will's Ransom tape -- which drops December 15 -- the artist formerly known as Tity Boi also announced his next project, Tru Jack City. The first single from Tru Jack City will be appearing on Mike's tape. Since he has already confirmed he is working on the studio album B.O.A.T.S. 3, we can only assume that Tru Jack City will be another mixtape. Pretty interesting to see him return to those roots after a big run in the industry.
